Assos Mens Cycling Jerseys
Cycling jerseys are a key component of your cycling kit wardrobe. Teamed with a base layer and a pair of shorts, the jersey plays a key part in your overall kit performance and style.
Choosing the right sizes is also important as you do not want the jersey too small as it rises up or pulls in areas that make you uncomfortable. Too big and it won’t look great and it will compromise the performance and the aerodynamics of the jersey. When trying on your jersey you need to ensure that the jersey covers the bottom part of the bib shorts. If you can see the bibs when the jersey is on then we would suggest that this is the wrong size and that you need the next size up.
However, when the jersey is on you want it to appear ever so slightly tight across the top half of the chest and shoulder area so that when you are in the cycling position the jersey is just the right fit.
If you are purchasing an aero jersey then the fit will be skin tight on all areas of the body and the cuffs around the arms also need to be tight on the skin.
If you are choosing a jersey for endurance type rising and you are wishing to carry a lot of things in the pockets, then we would advise that the jersey allow room for this. As you fill the pockets the jersey will become a little tighter.
