bikeZaar is a marketplace that brings together items from 100’s of retailers, making it easy for you to shop from all brand and retailers in one place. When you browse our site, you are looking at products that are being sold by those retailers.

If you are buying using the bikeZaar checkout we will display the delivery options and costs on the product page.

Any estimated delivery dates displayed on bikeZaar are worked out using the shipment information given to us by our partners, and therefore are subject to change.

Items bought from bikeZaar directly (‘bikeZaar Direct’ products)

UK

For UK orders, we use Royal Mail or FedEx. Our Standard service uses Royal Mail 48 Signature. With our Standard service orders should take 1-2 working days to process and 2-3 days to arrive for most of the UK mainland. Bikes may take longer if they need to be built up in advance. Delivery times may be extended depending on where you live. A signature will be required upon delivery. Prices vary according to basket size, weight & on the type of items selected. Some low value items will be sent out with Royal Mail 48 and will not require a signature upon delivery. We may also offer a Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery service. Orders take the same time to be dispatched but will be sent with Royal Mail 24 Signature and delivery is usually 1-2 days within the UK mainland. Our priority service uses FedEx Next Working Day. Orders are tracked and a signature is required upon delivery. With the exception of bikes, and pre-orders, orders before 2pm will be processed and dispatched the same working day and arrive the following working day to most of the mainland UK. Orders may be upgraded automatically to our FedEx service depending on weight and value of an order.

Worldwide Delivery

We have a Royal Mail, PostNL and FedEx service for international orders. Our Royal Mail International delivery uses either Royal Mail Int Signed or Royal Mail Int Tracked. With the exception of bikes and pre-orders, your order should take 1-2 days to process and be dispatched. Delivery timescales are indicated on the basket page and depend on the service you choose. Please note services may require a signature upon delivery. With our PostNL and FedEx service, orders will be processed as soon as possible after your order has been received. With the exception of bikes and pre-orders, we aim to dispatch all orders received before 2pm on the same working day (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

If you placed an order directly on a retailer’s website (‘Retailer Direct’ product)

Services and delivery timescales & charges will be as indicated on the retailer’s own website.

Items bought from Marketplace Sellers using the bikeZaar checkout (‘Marketplace Seller’ products)

Services and delivery timescales & charges will vary according to each individual Seller, as indicated on the basket page when checking-out.

We ship most items worldwide although some are restricted depending on the exact shipping destination.

The following products usually have shipping restrictions:

  • Bikes
  • Energy drink, food and gels
  • Liquids
  • Products that contain aerosols
  • Batteries

Shipments sent outside the United Kingdom, are sold exclusive of VAT and may be subject to import duties and taxes, which may be levied once a shipment reaches your country.

EU: From 1st January 2021, any purchases made online for delivery to addresses within the European Union will not be subject to UK VAT and may be subject to import duties and taxes, which may be levied once a shipment reaches your country.

Please note: It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods (not including the shipping charges) on all packages destined outside the United Kingdom. It is a criminal offence to falsify the details on this form. We cannot inaccurately describe contents, claim a lower value or mark as a gift. Please do not ask, or expect us to do any of the above. For details of customs charges please consult with your own customs authorities for the latest rates.

USA Customs and Import Duty

All goods shipped to the USA & Canada are liable for import duty and taxes. This amount varies depending on the destination state and the type of goods ordered. There are many online duty calculators that can help you estimate what these charges will be. Alternatively please consult your local customs office or drop us an email.

When you goods arrive at US customs you may be asked to provide the required registration / identification numbers for clearance (example include EIN, SSN, VAT, GST, RFC, etc.)

Please Note: Anyone who buys goods from abroad is classed as an “importer,” whether the goods are for commercial resale or personal use.

Effective from March 10th 2016, United States Customs and Border Protection has raised the import de minimis limit from $200 to $800. This is the value of a shipment of merchandise, imported by one person on one day, that may be imported free of duties and taxes and without the need of a customs declaration.

If you purchased from a retailer on the bikeZaar checkout (marketplace seller or bikeZaar direct), you should have received a confirmation email from us with an estimated delivery date. Please allow until this date for your item(s) to arrive. Also, please note that the dates given are an estimate and may vary.

If the estimated delivery date has passed or you think you should have received your order by now, please contact the retailer fulfilling your order, as they will be able to help you find a resolution fast. To find out how to do this, please log-in and look at your orders where you will find the contact details for each retailer you have purchased from.

If you placed an order directly on a retailer’s website:

If you made a purchase on a retailer’s own website, then please check your email for a confirmation. This will provide details of the order you placed and should include information on how to contact the retailer directly. 

We recommend that you contact the retailer first, as they will be best placed to help resolve the problem with the delivery fast. 

If you’ve contacted the retailer that you purchased from and you still haven’t had a resolution, please get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to help.

Any purchases you make on bikeZaar will be processed and shipped by the retailer stocking the products. Estimated delivery dates will be provided at the time of checkout.

Delivery and shipment updates will be provided by the retailer or their courier company. If you have an issue regarding shipment you can log-in and check your orders to find contact details for all the retailers you have purchased from using the bikeZaar checkout.

For ‘retailer direct’ products, please go on to their site and find out their process of getting a delivery update. If you can’t find how to, please message them direct.

Most retailers offer a tracking service on orders, meaning you can follow your products from shipment to delivery. If tracking is available for the retailer you have purchased from, they will normally provide details in a confirmation email or text message. Also, go into your account and view the order to see if their is any tracking code there.

For ‘retailer direct’ products, please go on to their site and find out their process of getting a tracking number. If you can’t find how to, please message them direct.

For security reasons most retailers won’t allow you to amend the delivery address of your order once it has been placed, however many do offer a cancellation period which means you can cancel and reorder to a different address within a certain amount of time.

For ‘marketplace’ & ‘bikeZaar direct’ products, please contact the seller to discuss their process as soon as possible. Once the order is sent, the seller can not change the address.

What happens to your order if you are not in will depend on the courier service delivering your items. Some couriers require a signature in order to make a delivery, and so may leave your parcel with a neighbour or try to redeliver at another time.

Alternatively they may leave your delivery in a safe place or at a postal depot. If any of these is the case the courier should leave a card with details of where to find your parcel.

If there are any issues with the delivery of your items please contact the retailer processing your order, details of which can be found in your Account if you purchased using the bikeZaar checkout.

When you purchase something through bikeZaar, your order is processed and dispatched by the retailer that stocks the product. This is why your order may arrive in another retailer’s packaging. This is mainly with marketplace items.

Yes, you can choose to have your order delivered to a home or work address. If you would like it sent to a different address to your billing address, you will have the chance to specify this at the checkout stage, whether you are purchasing through bikeZaar or direct on one of our partner retailer’s sites.

If you are ordering to your work address you’ll need to be confident that someone will be there to take receipt of the delivery, as most couriers will deliver to the place rather than the person, and we don’t want your order to get lost along the way.

If you work at a PO address please check with the retailer that is processing your order as some may not deliver to these.
