For example, if your rides will always be on the road, then select road bikes. If you are likely to be on and off-road, canal paths and cycle lanes, then take a look at the gravel range. If you are commuting, jumping on and off a train as part of your journey, and need something that takes up less storage space, then select the folding bikes option. If you want a little powered assistance, there are various e-bike options. If you are mainly off-road, choose mountain bikes….you get the idea.

Can I buy a bike through a cycle to work scheme?
Can I buy a bike using finance?
Yes, you can pay using PayPal Credit, or we offer a range of finance services via our retail network. If you select ‘yes’ to this question on the Bike Finder form, we will provide you with relevant quotes.
Can I collect my new bike?
Yes, depending on which bike and dealer you choose.
Will this bike fit me?
By telling us your height on the Bike Finder form, we will have a good idea of the size that you need, but we will make sure that you are sized correctly with the relevant dealer before you buy.
Do you offer test rides?
Many of our dealers do offer test rides. If this is important to you, make sure you mention it in the ‘Additional comment’s field on the Bike Finder form.
Do you offer home delivery & will the bike be built or will I need to assemble it?
Most of our dealers will offer delivery either using a courier or a trained mechanic if that is an option that you wish to choose. If you request standard shipping using a courier, then you may need to do some basic assembly. Instructions will be included and help is always on hand from the dealer and bikeZaar’s experts.
NOTE: Trek and Pinarello do not permit the use of courier services, so you can either collect, or we can arrange for your nearest dealer to hand-deliver. Other ‘internet-only’ brands use courier services, but if you would like a specialist to deliver your bike and set it up for you, we can arrange this for you (subject to your location). Simply state this as a requirement in the ‘Additional comments’ field on the Bike Finder form.
Do the bikes come with a warranty?
All new bikes come with a warranty in the country of purchase. If you are in a different country to the Seller, please check with us or them in advance. Used bikes may come with a dealer warranty. Check the relevant product page for details.
Do you price match & how do you get me the best deal?
Yes we do price match, but ultimately our aim is to get you the best deal for you. This might not always mean the cheapest, but the deal that gives you everything that you need e.g. bike, service package, insurance, accessory pack, hand-delivery and set-up etc. Whether the best price is your priority, or best overall value, we aim to please!
Where can I get my bike serviced?
Any reputable bike shop will service your bike, especially if they are part of the bikeZaar network of dealers. We can help point you in the right direction if you are unsure.
Do I pay bikeZaar or the retailer?
Using our Bike Finder service, you will pay the retailer directly either upon collection, or when arranging delivery.
What is your returns policy on bikes?
All purchases made online can be returned without question within 14 days, assuming they have not been used and are returned in a re-saleable condition with their original packaging. Most of our dealers accept 30 day returns, but it is worth checking when you decide which dealer to buy from. All bikes bought and paid for in full directly on bikezaar.com can be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
How long will it be before my bike is ready?
Some bikes are in stock and ready to collect or deliver. Others will be built according to your specification. It is worth asking this question when you submit your bike finder quote request.
Does my bike include pedals?
Some bikes e.g. junior bike and city bikes will come with flat pedals. More specialist road and mountain bikes, for example, are unlikely to come with pedals as you are likely to choose these to suit your footwear and preference.
Are pre-loved bikes genuine, not stolen and in road-worthy condition?
Absolutely. That is why we only sell used bikes that are listed by recognised cycle industry dealers. This way, we can guarantee that the history of the bike is known to an industry professional who is happy to put their name to it. This means no fakes, no stolen goods and the bikes are safe and roadworthy. Usually, the bikes have been purchased from and serviced by the relevant dealer since birth!
What payment options do you offer?
You can pay by credit and debit card, PayPal and PayPal Credit (subject to status), Apple Pay and Google Pay. A range of finance options exist, so please ask if this is a requirement.
Can I get my bike insured?
We feel so strongly that you should protect your new pride and joy, that we even created our own insurance policy. Not only is it designed to give you the best protection at the best price, it also ensures that we can get your bike inspected and/or replaced locally, rather than having to rely on courier service. Which countries do you sell/ship to?
We already ship clothing, parts and accessories to over 70 countries, but right now, we only ship bikes and framesets to the UK and Europe. Hopefully we will be extending this service globally in the near future. Some of our dealers are prepared to ship to other parts of the world, so it is worth asking the question in the ‘Additional comments’ field at the bottom of the bike finder page. Some customers have also been known to use freight forwarding services.
What are the costs for delivery and how long will it take?
This will vary subject to your location and that of the bike. The price will be included in each quote that you receive from dealers. If the bike is listed on bikeZaar.com you can find the shipping cost when on the basket page.
